| Abstract | Major positive and negative impacts associated with e-sports occur in the economic, social and health dimensions. The multidimensional impact also affects countries around the world. This study explains the understanding of the esports phenomenon in terms of economic growth, public cooperation and health responses to esports problems. Thailand is still a new thing in society. Because Thailand has just recognized e-sports as an official sporting event in 2017, therefore, guidelines for managing and regulating e-sports so that they do not become health problems or gambling or other problems are still necessary. Including creating clarity for this sport, how to approach it, is a matter that requires the cooperation of all sectors in Thai society. In order to make the bad effects of electronic sports become good and be part of the development of Thai society for the better. |
