Abstract | The objectives of the study are (1) to compare the difference of attitude toward lean management among automotive spare part businesses in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, classify into genders, ages, educational levels, occupation, and income, (2) to study a factor related to a COVID-19 pandemic that is affected lean management among automotive spare part businesses in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, (3) to study a factor related to customers’ attitude toward lean management among automotive spare part businesses in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. This study is a quantitative research using a questionnaire to collect data from the customers of automotive spare part businesses in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province for 400 samples. The statistics used for data analysis are frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The statistics used for hypothesis testing contain t-test for a difference testing, F-test for an analysis of variance (ANOVA), Least Significant Difference (LSD) method for a pair-mean comparison testing, and a multiple regression. This study shows that most respondents are male with a range of 21-30 years of age, graduating a degree, working as employees in a private company, and have a personal income between 10,001 – 20,000 baht. Overall, the factor of customers’ attitude has a positive correlation with lean management among automotive spare part businesses with a coefficient value of 0.647 and it is able to predict the effect on lean management among automotive spare part businesses for 41.8 percent (R2 = 0.418). Regarding the factor related to a COVID-19 pandemic, it has a positive correlation with lean management among automotive spare part businesses with a coefficient value of 0.435 and it is able to predict the effect on lean management among automotive spare part businesses for 19.0 percent (R2 = 0.190). |
