Abstract | The purpose of this study aims to investigate the readiness of stem instruction management involving 3 areas: 1) Educational preparation; 2) Instructional management; and 3) Learning assessment. Research data were mainly collected by questionnaires. In total, 384 teachers from three subjects; science, mathematics, and were asked by questionnaires. A quantitative method was used to describe the findings through Mean (M) the results of this study indicated that; 1) The readiness of stem instruction management was at a low level (M = 2.88) in all three areas. The learning assessment was the lowest level (M = 2.98), then the following was the instructional management (M = 2.80), and the last the educational preparation (M = 2.77). 2) The other results when classified by school types under three different offices found that the readiness of stem instruction management in three different offices was at a low level (M = 2.78). The schools under the Office of the basic education commission was the highest level (M = 2.87); next the schools under office of the private education commission (M = 2.86); and the schools were under Bangkok organization (M = 2.62). 3) The readiness of stem instruction management divided by three subject teachers was at a low level as well (M = 2.78). The results showed that science teacher was the highest level (M = 2.91), then by mathematics teacher (M = 2.76), and computer teacher (M = 2.67) at last. |
