Abstract | The purpose of this research was to study self- contained classroom management in elementary schools in Bangkok. The samples in this study were 240 elementary teachers, belonging to Office of The Basic Education Commission (OBEC), Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), and Office of The Private Education Commission (OPEC). The instrument used was the questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research findings were as follows: 1.) In the teaching field, teachers who belong to OBEC had the highest performance (M = 4.13), BMA (M = 3.76), and OPEC (M = 3.34) respectively. 2.) In the class administration, teachers who belong to BMA had the highest performance (M = 4.27), OBEC (M = 3.52), and OPEC (M = 3.07) respectively. 3.) In the classroom management, teachers who belong to OPEC had the highest performance (M = 3.94), OBEC (M = 3.66), and BMA (M = 3.51) respectively. 4.) In the Student aid administration system, teachers who belong to OPEC had the highest performance (M = 3.94), OBEC (M = 3.84), and BMA (M = 3.37) respectively. |
