Abstract The purpose of this research was to study the roles of teachers in promoting self-regulation behaviors among preschool-aged children in schools under the Ratchaburi primary education service area office 1 in 2 aspectscomprised 1) arranging safety environment and 2)teaching self-regulation behaviors. Examples were181 preschoolteachers of schools under the Ratchaburi primary educational service area office 1 in academic year2020. Lottery method was used as simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation.The results showed that Theteachers’ roles in promoting self-regulating behavior of preschool children wereat a high level (M=4.48). Considering each aspect, it was found thatarranging safety environment had the highest mean score(M=4.49) followed bythe teaching self-regulation behaviors score(M=4.48)
