Abstract | The objective of the research was to develop an instructional package with augmented reality and cooperative learning to enhance the Arabic reading skills of first-grade students, and evaluation of the instructional package by experts. In this article, the researcher presents the first phase of the Research and Development. The samples for this article were ten experts in the following fields: educational technology and communications, elementary education, and Arabic. The instructional package consisted of five elements and five steps. The five elements were (1) Augmented reality instructional package, (2) Teacher, (3) Students (4) Cooperative learning, and (5) Assessment. The five steps were (1) Students are prepared and assigned to cooperative learning groups (2) Teacher reads and students pronounce (3) Student join assigned groups (4) Students work on assignments and receive feedback, and (5) Group evaluation is performed. The model of the instructional package with augmented reality was assessed by the experts at an excellent level (M = 4.6. SD = 0.54) which shows that this model is appropriate for use in practical situations. |
