Abstract | The purpose of this research was to study the need for instructional supervision of science teachers of group 2 in Nakhon Ratchasima primary educational service area office 7. The population is science teachers of group 2 in 18 schools of Nakhon Ratchasima primary educational service area office 7. The informant was 108 science teachers of group 2 in Nakhon Ratchasima primary educational service area office 7. The instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by means of frequency distribution, percentage, mean and standardThe findings were as follows:1. The overall need for instructional supervision of science teachers were at a high level. While, the curriculum and learning activities were similarly highest need for instructional supervision of science teachers. 2. The need for instructional supervision of science teachers in each area were at a highest levels followed by 1) curriculum was preparation of curriculum materials such as teaching publications of science and teacher manual, 2) learning activities were training students to use the science process skills such as observation, classification, measurement,hypothesize and prediction etc., 3) instructional materials was using learning resources in school and community for learning and teaching such as ecology survey, animal and plant and survey around school. They have learned by real-experiential learning, 4) learning measurement and evaluation was selecting of measurement and evaluation instruments which conform objectives and learning activities. |
