Abstract The purpose of this research were 1) to study the current conditions of community participation in sub-district quality school. 2) to Develop guidelines of community participation in sub-district quality school and 3) to evaluate the guidelines of community participation in sub-district quality school. The sample group consisted of 45 sub-district quality school under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, selected using Taro Yamane's table. It consisted of the director of sub-district quality school, teacher representatives in the basic education committee, chairpersons of the basic education committee, parent representatives in the basic education committee, community leader representatives, government agencies representatives in the community, local business representatives in the community, and parent representatives in the community, totaling 360 people. The research tool was a component appropriateness assessment form, a questionnaire, a focus group discussion form and a appropriateness and feasibility assessment form of the guidelines. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.The results were as follows:1. The current conditions of community participation in sub-district quality school management under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 showed that : 1.1 The components of community participation in sub-district quality school management consisted of 6 aspects 1) Participation in decision-making 2) Participation in planning 3) Participation in implementing plans 4) Participation in monitoring supervision and evaluation 5) Participation in accountability and 6) Participation in receiving benefits.1.2 The current conditions of community participation in sub-district quality school management under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, overall and by aspect were at a high level.2. The guidelines for community participation in sub-district quality school management under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 by focus group discussion, It was found that 6 aspects with a total of 22 guidelines.3. The evaluation of the appropriateness and feasibility of the guidelines for community participation in sub-district quality school management under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, overall and by aspects were at the highest level of appropriateness and feasibility.
