Abstract | This research aimed to study the behavior of school administrators in relation to the performance of teachers under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani. The sample group used in the research was 226 directors, deputy directors or heads of personnel administration and teachers under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani, who were randomly selected from a population of 568. The sampling method used 2 steps: Step 1, 25 schools were selected by stratified sampling using proportional sampling using school size as the criterion. Step 2 used simple random sampling to select teachers from schools of each size. The instruments used for data collection were 1. School administrators’ behavior questionnaire with a reliability of 0.85, 2. Teachers’ performance questionnaire with a reliability of 0.893. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested using Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient. The findings were as follows: 1. the behavior of school administrators under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani, overall and in each aspect was at a high level. 2. The performance of teachers under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani, overall and in each aspect was at the highest level. 3. The relationship between the behavior of school administrators (X) and the performance of teachers (Y) under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani, overall and in each aspect was positively related with statistical significance at the .01 level. |
