Abstract | The objectives of this research were: 1. to study the current conditions of school administration for enhancing teacher performance; 2. to study the guidelines of school administration for enhancing teacher performance; and 3. to evaluate the guidelines of school administration for enhancing teacher performance under the office of Surin Primary Educational Service Area 3 The research was conducted in 3 phases as follows. Phase 1: Studying of current conditions by creating a questionnaire with a 5-level estimation scale, then using the generated questionnaire to collect data from a sample of 441 people, and analyzing the current conditions, hence prioritizing each aspect by sorting according to the mean of each aspect.Phase 2: Studying the guidelines of school administration for enhancing teacher performance by drafting the guidelines by the researchers and interviewing 5 experts, then drafting the guidelines of school administration for enhancing teacher performance. And, Phase 3: Evaluating the suitability and feasibility of the guidelines of school administration for enhancing teacher performance under the Office of Surin Primary Educational Service Area 3 by 30 stakeholders. Using a 5-point Likert scale survey tool, evaluating the suitability and feasibility on the levels of 'most', 'more', 'moderate', 'less', and 'least' in sequence, and analyzing the data by calculating the mean and standard deviation.The results were as follows.1.The current conditions of school administration for enhancing teacher performance under the Office of Surin Primary Educational Service Area 3 in overall was at the highest level. When considering each aspect, the aspects sorted from the highest average to the lowest were consecutively the aspect of academic administration and academic leadership, educational institution management, self and professional development, strategic change and innovation management, and community and network management.2. The guidelines of school administration for enhancing teacher performance under the Office of Surin Primary Educational Service Area 3, resulting from studying the school administration for enhancing teacher performance, synthesized by the researcher, consisted of 5 components, and then were drafted with the results from the interviews of the experts, comprising 13 guidelines.3. For the evaluation of the guidelines of school administration for enhancing teacher performance under the Office of Surin Primary Educational Service Area 3, the suitability and feasibility were assessed by 30 stakeholders. It was found that the overall suitability and possibility levels were at the highest level. |
