Abstract | This quantitative research aimed to study 1) transformational leadership of school administrators of educational opportunity expansion schools under the Office of Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area 3, 2) academic administration of the school administrators, and 3) effects of transformational leadership of the school administrators on academic administration. A sample of 270 was randomly selected from teachers in 25schools. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed in terms of mean, standard deviation, single-order correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. The research results were as follows.1. The transformational leadership of the school administrators were both overall and on individual aspects at the high level. The aspects were ranked from highest one as: 1) ideological influence, 2) inspiration, 3) consideration of individuality, and 4) intellectual stimulation, in that order.2. Academic administration of the schools were both overall and on individual aspects at the high level also. The aspects were ranked from highest one as: 1) measurement, 2) evaluation, and transfer of learning results, 3) development of learning processes, 4) development of school curriculum, and 5) development of educational media, innovation, and technology, in that order.3. Aspects of transformational leadership of the school administrators that affected academic administration of the schools at the statistically significant level of 0.01 were that of ideological influence, of inspiration, and of individual consideration. |
