Abstract | This research aimed to 1) assess the health literacy of undergraduate students at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Nakhon Pathom Province, and 2) propose guidelines for improving the quality of life of undergraduate students at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Nakhon Pathom Province. This research was a quantitative research. The population was selected as undergraduate students from 4 faculties of Mahamakut Buddhist University: Faculty of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, and Faculty of Religion and Philosophy, totaling 246 persons. Taro Yamane’s calculation formula was used. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of the research found that 1) The level of health literacy of undergraduate students at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Nakhon Pathom Province, found that overall, the level of health literacy of undergraduate students at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Nakhon Pathom Province was at the highest level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the assessment aspect had a high level of health literacy, the access aspect had a high level of health literacy, the knowledge and understanding aspect had a high level of health literacy, and the communication aspect had a high level of health literacy. And in terms of knowledge application, there is a high level of health intelligence. 2) Recommendations: Personnel who perform assessments should receive training in comprehensive health assessment methods that are sensitive to the student context in order for the assessment to be accurate and fair. |
