Abstract | This research aimed to study the personnel management needs of school administrators under the secondary educational service area office, Sisaket Yasothon. The objectives were : (1) To investigate the current state of personnel management by school administrators under the secondary educational service area office, Sisaket Yasothon, (2) To compare the desired state of personnel management based on educational qualifications, experience, and school size, and (3) To assess the personnel management needs of school administrators. The sample consisted of 429 teachers and school administrators selected through stratified random sampling based on school size, following Krejcie and Morgan’s table. A questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.926 was used to collect data. The statistics used included percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Hypotheses were tested using t-tests and one-way ANOVA, followed by pairwise comparisons using Scheffé's method when differences were found. The research findings indicated that:1.The overall personnel management needs of school administrators were high, with the highest-rated need in personnel development and retention, followed by performance evaluation, and the lowest in recruitment and appointment.2.Significant differences were found in personnel management needs based on educational qualifications, with statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level.3.Experts' opinions on the personnel management needs also revealed significant differences across various areas, with statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level. |
