| Abstract | The Book: Thai Alphabet and Orthography. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natha Angsuviriya is the author. This book is an academic documentary or textbook on the evolution of the Thai language that is very suitable for those in the fields of Thai language education, historical linguistics, and students enrolled in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Program in Thai or related disciplines. Because all students in The Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008) are required to learn literature in the textbook, which has the topic for the lesson of The Inscription of King Ramkamhaeng the Great. The study leads to investigation, discussion and debate to understand the origins of the letters in King Ramkhamhaeng's inscription and contemporary letters, as well as the reasons behind the evolution of letterforms and writing techniques, which show distinct differences in shape, style and method over time.
