Abstract | The Importance of Developing Engineering Design Processes in the STEAM Education Era The development of engineering design processes is crucial in the modern era, which emphasizes the integration of knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM Education). Interactive multimedia using Adobe Captivate enhances effective and engaging learning experiences. Therefore, it is necessary to study the effectiveness and student satisfaction regarding the use of this media. This research aims to Develop interactive multimedia using Adobe Captivate combined with STEAM Education to promote engineering design process skills. Compare students' learning achievement before and after using the multimedia. Evaluate students' satisfaction with the interactive multimedia. Research Methodology The sample group consisted of 36 Grade 7 students from Chaturat Wittayakarn School, selected through Simple Random Sampling. The research instruments included Six lesson plans (IOC = 1.00). Interactive multimedia (M = 4.36, SD = 2.21). Learning achievement test (IOC = 1.00). Student satisfaction questionnaire (Reliability = 0.98). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a dependent sample t-test.Research Results:1)The efficiency of the interactive multimedia was 84.12/82.96, exceeding the standard of 80/80.2)The average pre-test score was 12.58, while the post-test score was 24.89, showing a statistically significant increase at the .05 level.3)Students' satisfaction with the multimedia was high (M = 4.40, SD = 0.41).The interactive multimedia using Adobe Captivate combined with STEAM Education is highly effective in improving learning achievement and receiving positive satisfaction from students. It is suitable for application in subjects that focus on developing practical skills. |
