Abstract | The purposes of this research were to 1. study the personnel management of small schools under the jurisdiction of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 2. examine the effectiveness of small schools under the same jurisdiction. 3. investigate the aspects of personnel management that influence the effectiveness of small schools under the jurisdiction of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, and 4. propose guidelines for improving personnel management that enhances the effectiveness of small schools under the jurisdiction of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample group consists of 201 teachers and personnel from small schools under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 in the academic year 2024. The research instruments include a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and a structured interview. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis, and content analysis.The results of this study showed that 1. The overall personnel management of small schools under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 is at a high level in all aspects. 2. The overall effectiveness of small schools under the same jurisdiction is also at a high level in all aspects. 3. The key factors in personnel management that influence school effectiveness include personnel retention, personnel development, and personnel recruitment and selection. 4. Strategies for improving personnel management to enhance school effectiveness suggest that administrators should assess personnel needs based on established criteria, structure staff appropriately, allocate human resources efficiently, collaborate with internal and external organizations, monitor and evaluate personnel planning, and address areas of weakness within the school to retain personnel in the long term. |
