| Abstract | Every human being has faced events in their life that raise the question, "Why is this happening to me?" Many believe that the events we experience are the result of karma, a key concept in Buddhism. The word "karma" refers to action, including actions of the body, speech, and mind, that lead to the results corresponding to those actions. Karma is not simply a fixed fate, but a systematic process of cause and effect. By properly understanding karma, we can live mindfully and create better choices. |
