Abstract | This mixed-methods research aimed to 1)study the level of participatory behavior in early childhood education management through 5-Power Learning Base activities of parents, families and communities at Chaeng Wittaya School in Mueang District of Songkhla Province and 2) examine the opinions of parents, families and communities towards the 5-Power Learning Base activities, consisting of Self-Power Base, Family-Power Base, Wisdom-Building Power Base, Friend and Activity Power Base, and Community Power Base for participation in early childhood education management. The target group comprised 20 representatives from parents, families, and community members whose children were studying at the early childhood level at Chaeng Wittaya School, Mueang District, Songkhla Province in 2024. The researcher collected data using a questionnaire on participatory behavior in early childhood education management, which was a 5-level rating scale consisting of 2 parts: Part 1 covered general information of respondents and Part 2 focused on participatory behavior in early childhood education management. The questionnaire had a content validity of 1.00 with t-values ranging between 40.102-52.739 and a reliability coefficient of .86. An interview form was also used. The data analysis employed statistical analysis to determine mean and standard deviation, while interview results were analyzed using content analysis.The research findings revealed that the overall level of participatory behavior in educational management through 5-Power Learning Base activities among parents, families, and communities in early childhood education at Chaeng Wittaya School in Mueang District of Songkhla Province was at the highest level (4.65). The interview results showed that representatives from parents, families, and community members viewed the 5-Power Learning Base activities, which include Self-Power Base, Family-Power Base, Wisdom-Building Power Base, Friend and Activity Power Base, and Community Power Base, as excellent activities that were highly valuable and beneficial for parents, families, and communities in participating in early childhood learners' development enhancement. Additionally, they gained more knowledge and understanding about participation in early childhood education management to promote proper development of the children under their care and responsibility. |
