| Abstract | Technological advancements also play a role in many people's operations and daily lives. Technology has obviously played an important role in their operations. The procurement work is a work that has been operated in accordance with strict procedures in which the government has set important policies in the administration of the country, especially the procurement process of government agencies. Therefore, the application of information technology to parcel operations is an interesting issue. The objectives of this research were (1) to study the level of needs for using information technology and supplies operations of vocational educational institutes in Chonburi Province. And (2) comparing the level of demand for information technology use with the procurement operations of vocational educational institutes in Chonburi Province classified by sex, position, and age. The population of this study consisted of 1,321 personnel of vocational educational institutes in Chonburi Province with a sample of 306 people. The research tool was a questionnaire on the level of need for using information technology and supplies in educational institutions. The statistics used in the research were frequency, mean, percentage, standard deviation, F-test, and t-test. The results showed that (1) The level of demand for the use of information technology and supplies operations of vocational educational institutes in Chonburi Province as a whole was at a high level. And (2) a comparative analysis of the needs for information technology use with the procurement operations of vocational educational institutes in Chonburi Province, it was found that (a) classified by gender as a whole and not different from each other, (b) classified according to the overall position and the side is not different, and (c) classified by age as a whole and in each aspect was not different. |
