Abstract Participation of members or localities affects the development of innovative models. Management wisdom is a concept that integrates the work between the various activities that occur in the organization to cause mutual learning among members, which, if the lack of learning together, will result in the organization setting policies for operations that may affect members. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting membership participation in the business operations of Doi Saket agricultural cooperative Ltd., Doi Saket district, Chiang Mai province. The questionnaire was used to collect 344 samples for the survey. Data analysis by descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, and standard deviation According to the study, the majority of respondents were male and 51 years old, with a marital status of single, an education level of bachelor's degree, an average monthly income of 11,001–12,000 baht, and a membership period of 7 years or more in loan-type cooperatives. The frequency of using services with the cooperative is less than or equal to 1 time per week, contacting the cooperative between 10.01 and 12.00 hrs. They receive information about the cooperative from the cooperative's location office. They use cooperative contact channels, namely cooperative locations. The motivation for deciding to do business with cooperatives is as a source of funds (loans). The overall level of participation of the members of Doi Saket Cooperative Limited in business operations was low. When considering each aspect, it was found that the highest level of participation in Doi Saket Cooperative Limited members' business operations was the benefit aspect, followed by the members' decision-making aspect and the participation aspect in operations, control, and inspection.
