Abstract Nowadays, products related to children such as toys and baby items have a variety of quality brands and prices. It can be said that there are manufacturers out there for all demographics, but human nature always delivers the best for their children or grandchildren. Thus, choosing baby toys for children and children for the population with purchasing power will be a selection of good quality products with reliable brands. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to study toy purchasing behavior and the importance of marketing mix factors affecting toy purchases among parents of elementary school students in San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai Province. This research used a questionnaire to collect data from a sample of 372 people who brought the baby toy in San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai Province, which was then analyzed using statistics of frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The study found that most of the respondents were female, aged 41–50 years old, married, had a bachelor's degree, and had a monthly income of 10,001–20,000 baht. They were self-employed and had children. 1 person. They buy toys themselves. The types of toys they regularly buy are RC cars, battery toys, and robots, which they usually buy for their children, grandchildren, or acquaintances. According to the study, their children have a say in whether or not they buy toys for their children. They usually choose to buy toys after 2:00 p.m. onward for a cost of less than or equal to 500 baht each time. They know the toy store information from their friends or acquaintances. For the study of the level of importance affecting the decision to purchase children's toys by elementary school parents in San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai Province, the overall level was at the highest level, with a mean of 4.25.
