Abstract | Academic administration is the heart of educational management. All stakeholders must have knowledge, and understanding, prioritize and participate in systematic planning, setting up guidelines, evaluation and improvement. The objectives of this research were 1) to study the current state of participatory academic administration, 2) to create an effective participatory academic administration model, 3) to study the results of an effective participatory academic administration model, and 4) to inquire about the satisfaction with the effective participatory academic administration model. The samples used in this research were 6 teachers, 8 members of basic education institutions, 16 experts, 63 students, and 63 students' parents, a total of 156 people. The instruments used in the research were questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and assessment forms. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean, standard deviation, and percentage. The results of the research found that 1) participatory academic administration, overall, it’s at a high level, 2) the effective participatory academic administration model consists of 6 components: (1) curriculum development and curriculum implementation (2) learning process development (3) internal supervision (4) development of media, innovation and educational technology (5) development of learning resources, and (6) measurement and evaluation and the overall assessment results are at the highest level, 3) the results of an experimental study of an effective participatory academic administration model, overall, it's at a high level, and 4) satisfaction with the effective participatory academic administration model, overall, at the highest level. |
