| Abstract | The purpose of this research was to promote the spelling skills of Grade 2 students by using games and to compare the spelling skills of students before and after using the game. The population used in the research is 2nd grade students under the Mueang Somdej School Group. Kalasin Primary Education Area Office, Area 3, totaling 347 people and the sample group in the research were Grade 2 students at Ban Bon Witthaya Community School, 19 people. This was selected from students whose spelling test scores were lower than 50 percent. The research tools included 8 game-based learning plans and a 40-word spelling skill test. Analyze data Using basic statistics, percentages, averages, and standard deviations. The research results found that After using the game, students had average scores in spelling skills. The total was as high as 81.71, The highest score was found in the area of spelling words with the vowel -ะ (90.53%), followed by the vowel เ-ะ (89.47%), vowel โ-ะ (88.42%), vowel เ-อ (78.42%), vowel อัว (76.84%), and vowel ออ (75.79%), while the vowelThe results of comparing spelling skills before and after using the game found that Students' spelling skills after using the game were significantly higher than before using the game at the .05 level. |
