Abstract The flipped classroom with a demonstration is a child-centred method which differences from traditional instruction. The students have to study instructional media before doing activities with peers in the classroom under the guidance and feedback of the teacher. This instruction helps with times constraints for teaching since the students have time to learn about principle and theory. Teachers have more time for individual guidance and feedback. Further the flipped classroom with a demonstration offers students learning by doing and has the effect of increased learning retention.
