Abstract This study aimed to investigate the direction of educational management as perceivedby school administrators in pilot innovative schools in Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province. The study involved an analysis of the visions of 10 pilot schools in the district. The findingsrevealed that the direction of educational management in these schools can be analyzed based on the administrators'visions for improving the quality of education to align with the needs of the local area and society. Key findings include: a focus on context-specific education, curriculum development that promotes community identity, the use of innovationspaces as a development tool, opportunities for experimentation in innovative schools, the promotion of educational equity, the development of 21st-century skills, the fostering of community engagement, and the use of technology for learning.
