Abstract | In order to find out the influence of sales staff competency on the sales performance of enterprise salespeople and improve enterprise operating income and production efficiency; this research studies the salesperson competency of Sichuan Houtian Technology Co.; Ltd. Based on the analysis of company and industry background; this research uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the influence of sales staff competency on sale performance of Sichuan Houtian Technology Co.; Ltd. The study found that: (1) the competency factors that directly and positively affect the performance of SHTC salespeople include skill and knowledge; among which skill has the most significant influence; (2) The skills that played an important role in improving sales performance are communication skills and building a good continuous relationship with customers; (3) Another competency that plays an important role in improving sales performance is knowledge of the company's products. The above conclusions can provide a reference for SHTC to recruit; train and assess sales personnel in the future. |
