Abstract | As a result of climate change, water resources and human well-being are being impacted in a variety of ways. Studiesshow that a rise in temperature, a rise in the sea level, and an increase in the number of natural disasters could cause pain formillions of people. Climate change has a significant influence on Bangladesh's water resources, which are examined in thisreview study. An increase in water-borne disease transmission, significant shifts in aquatic biodiversity, hindrance to blueeconomic growth and more severe natural catastrophes are all consequences of climate change impacts in the water sector.Programs taken by Bangladesh government have often failed to reduce the impacts of climate change. Recommendations forbetter policy in decision making, enforcement of environmental legislation, improvement of institutional capacity, and publicawareness to safeguard the water environment and biodiversity, have been highlighted in this study. Experts and policymakerswill benefit from the information that is shared through this medium. |
