| Abstract | The aims of this paper are to introduce and validate a new distribution, which is related to the hyperbolic function.The differential equation is applied to obtain the survival and probabilistic functions. The moment generating function isprovided by using the integral transform. The proposed distribution is applied to real data sets. It is demonstrated that itcan be used as an alternative model in various disciplines such as electronics, financial, weather, and arrival times |
