In pursuit of understanding organizational effectiveness within a local government setting, this study examined the influence of work-related attitudes and work-inducedstress on organizational effectiveness among permanent employees of the LGU Libacao. A descriptive-correlational research design was used along with the quantitative analysis. Using Parels formula, a total of 84 respondents were selected through proportional stratified random sampling from a population of 106 employees across 14 offices. Findings revealed that employees generally exhibited good work-related attitudes, experienced low levels of work-induced stress, and demonstrated good organizational effectiveness. No significant differences were found in work-related attitudes, work-induced stress, or organizational effectiveness when grouped by age, sex, civil status, or length of service. However, job position significantly influenced the financial perspective of organizational effectiveness. A strong positive correlation was observed between work-related attitudes and organizational effectiveness, indicating that as positive attitudes increase, organizational effectiveness also increases.Conversely, a strong negative correlation was found between work-induced stress and organizational effectiveness, suggesting that higher stress levels correspond with reduced organizational effectiveness. |
