| Abstract | The purposes of this research were to: 1. develop and examine the consistency of a structural equation model comprising empathic leadership (EML), happy organization (HO), work-life balance (WLB), and well-being (WT) that influence the happiness of primary school teachers (HT); and 2. study the direct effect and indirect effect of these factors. The sample consisted of 560 primary school teachers selected through multi-stage random sampling from various regions of Thailand. Data were collected using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling. The results indicated that: 1. The developed model demonstrated a good fit with empirical data.2. The analysis of direct and indirect effects on teachers' happiness found that 1) Empathetic leadership has an influence on teachers' happiness through a happy organization and work-life balance and well-being, with a total effect of .685. 2) Work-life balance influences teachers' happiness through teachers' well-being, with a total effect of .887 3) Factors that influenced happiness included Well-being (.968), Happy organization (.461), and Empathic leadership (-.413). |
